makin' it up as I go...
gallery ...as I go Sparky's stuff about

blogged by the infamous J-Walk… (click it, it’s a link)

(For the one or two of you out there who read this blog using a RSS reader or suchlike, I’m posting backdated entries. *Gasp* Is that allowed? :) )

This is one link in a monitor chain.
Please photograph this blog post (including your monitor and its immediate surroundings), and post the resulting pic on your blog. Then the next person photographs your blog post and posts it, and so on. Leave your post URL in the comments so people will be able to follow the chain, and link your image to the post you photographed… this way people will be able to zoom into the monitors by clicking.

All fixed up now. The blog engine that is.

WordPress upgrade underway. So far the archives by month is not working and it looks like the page header is toast.

Use this link to get back to the makin’ it up home page.

Why the hell aren’t the images showing up in comments and permalinks?

UPDATE: One way to fix this is update ALL the links to everything in the blog images folder. Fun eh?

UPDATE 2: That’s all fixed now, and so’s a bunch of other stuff.

J-Walk Blog Link Experiment.

The blog layout is now fixed. So, if you didn’t stop by in the last few hours you may never know the difference.

Enough hacking or one day.

After wending my way through WordPress code, comments are working again. The layout is a bit messed up, but I’ll get to it.

However, I’m considering going with a wiki.

Comments are broken. I’m turning them off for the time being.

“Congratulations on finally setting up your site. I am sure the website will become a internet legend”
Finally? I first created the site in 1997.

“Thank you for opening a wonderfully new sight..I wish you the best of luck with your new venture.”
”Site,” not “sight.” And, again, this site has been around for over 8 years.

“Thank you for your wonderful web site and this guest page”
     You’re welcome, but I don’t have a guest page.
